What is a business description and why is it necessary? Our account manager, Kevin, is here to tell you.

As a whole, a business description is a detailed description of your organization. It is usually several hundred characters and will be found on the Knowledge Panel as well as Google Maps results. You can edit your business description in your Google My Business Account- or Clix can take care of it for you!

Our SEO strategist, Dani, tells us about the Mobile First Index update that took effect March 2018. In summary, Google is going to place more emphasis on how mobile-friendly your website is and accordingly boost the mobile version of your site in search results rather than the desktop version. This is because the majority of users access Google through their phones. If you don’t have a mobile version of your site, don’t worry. Google will simply continue to use the desktop version in its search results. Also, if you have a “responsive site,” you don’t need to do anything.
